supported Weiliat and David for their national song-writing competition. the situation didn't do them justice with the unforeseen technical error and horrible MTV created that rendered too much laughter. their videos are like horribly HORRID can? first things first, MTVs are supposed to enhance the song that is being performed, not to make the supposingly touching lyrics look hilarious. seriously, the acting of those people did ZERO justics to Weiliat's lyrics. and secondly, if it's a MTV, the actors should be pleasant looking to the eyes right? i'm not in the best position to say this but from an objective point of view, i think the organising committee should have been more selective in their choice of lead for the MTVs. it's a form of respect for their own event. argh.those aside, i think they did great. the demo tape is good and it's a great feat to be a finalist! top 10 nation-wide! there'll be more opportunities! (:
did i mention that i had the suay-est day of my life? tuition was bad bad bad right from the start. rushed down from the East to the West, only to have the taxi uncle driving me to the wrong destination and insisting that i didn't say my words properly. and a whopping 22 bucks for the fare. argh argh argh.
