awake at some unearthly time.
it's 4.51am and i am wide awake. (sidenote: the breakfast truck just pulled into the carpark as i am typing this.)
just completed my horrifying 2000 word term paper for this Political Science module. and i swear i almost went crazy during the process. 2000 words! on Singapore politics somemore. my goodness. thank God for the luck in research and the positive response from the tutor when i sent her my draft outline that kept me going. i hope the content of my term paper is good enough! i desperately need better grades to pull my CAP for this semester up. (:
i still can't sleep 'cause i need to digest the ultra sinful food that i've eaten. this very nice neighbour bought supper for us at 3am! chicken mcnuggets, my new craving! haha. and i happily ate it while typing my essay. this is bad. very nice neighbours in hall = extreme weight gain. they will either a) jio you for supper b) buy supper for you or c) offer you food from the stash in their rooms. =
it's been a pretty good week! got into the soccer, touch rugby and hockey training teams for IHG! while i'm feeling pretty relieved and glad now that the stressful trials are over, i'm also wondering if i can manage at all. oh well. guess i'll just give it a try? (:
the soccer team is good this week too! we had a total of two friendly matches. the first one was against NTU where we lost in penalty shoot. it was a good game considering that it's the first real 11-a-side field game for most of us! and the opponents were pretty strong too. it didn't help that their coach was the referee and he was giving them instructions while on the field! and our coach arrived so late that he only watched us for ten minutes of play. the second one was against TJC where we won 1-0. (: absolutely happy! haha. although i'm totally shagged after the game, i'm still glad. i guess it is how it feels when you're really enjoying something. and i haven't felt this for a long long time.
met up with Marie and Weising during the public holiday to celebrate Marie's birthday. and met up with Lay Joan and Veron during the weekend for some catching-up (okkaayy, Veron stays right beside me but we had catching up to do with Lay Joan you see =P). had a great time for both days but i'll let the photos do the talking when i have the time to upload them! Ms Goh Jieying! we missed you! goodluck for your A's and we'll meet up soon okay? we are still going to the zoo! (:
Grams is finally discharged and back home. (: i shall make it a point to go home from hall earlier to visit her! (:
i don't usually post youtube videos here but this one really caught my attention.
saw it on this blog and the title given by the owner catch my attention. "regrets, do you have any?" went on to click the video and the setting of the video made me more interested. it's based on a true story and they did the filming in AJC. more information of the video revealed that the story did not take place in the college instead but it was the only college that was willing to offer the space for filming. haha. still, it brought back the good ol' memories of the days in college! days which i absolutely miss. and the video is really touching! i almost teared. (: life's cruel to many people and you never know when you might make a big difference to someone's life just by being there and being around when the world seems to have abandoned them. (:
Halloween's coming right up. and it marks the two year period. and i'm proud to say that i've been happy for the past two years. (:
