last post before i officially move into TH.
big news of the week NUMBER 1:
i passed my standard first aid course! yay-ness to myself. haha. and now i promise myself to go for a refresher course before this cert expires next time. i can save myself from so much can? silly me happily allowed my old cert to expire for eight whooping months before going for the course again. and guess what it caused me? 4 full days of course and 3 sleepless nights. and a very tired me. and it didn't help that i'm the only RCY volunteer in the course! and they expected me to know alot more because of my background. so stressful can? i was so worried that i'll screw up my theory paper. and guess what? i got 26/30! yay-ness. haha. P1 was like, "you should be getting full marks!" my gawd. i'm very glad that i passed and that's final! (: i'm a happy person!
big news of the week NUMBER 2:
i am going to get a NEW laptop afterall! yay-ness again. haha. Dad looked through the NUS site and decided on the Fujitsu model! not the tablet though. the other one. i'm a complete idiot when it comes to such techy stuff so that's all i can tell you. Yingsheng tried explaining to me what RAM is but i failed to understand. haha. i'm quite hopeless. kinda sad that i can't get the Macbook cause it's still not compatible with many programmes. but oh well, i'm satisfied with any notebook so long as i can survive with it. i'm getting it on Matric Day and Dad's coming along! i hope he does cash and carry! (:
big news of the week NUMBER 3:
my heartbeat's stabilising! went for the medical check-up (like finally) and i cleared it! haha. it was quite a long wait even though the kiasu me arrived at 0815hrs! there were like a few people in front of me already! the doctor says i just need to cut down on my caffeine intake, which she accounts to the tea i take at home everyday. hopefully so! (:
big news of the week NUMBER 4:
i'm officially moving into Temasek Hall tomorrow! i've already checked in and moved all my stuff down (which is a truckload) with the help of the parents and the sister. haha. actually i think they wanted to kaypoh at my room lar. my room's looking cosy now! but i think i've brought too many sets of clothes. haha. since i suck at laundry, maybe i can just not wash them and bring them home every weekend. and the mother will kill me. haha. my room's a stone throw away from the FASS lecture theatres and i'm a happy girl! it's right behind the bus-stop which makes trips to Subway and Cheers easy! haha. (: but the room was SO DIRTY. i spent 2.5 hours cleaning it. okay, maybe i was a neatfreak. i cleaned every nook and cranny and almost killed myself in the process. thank gawd for prior training in RCY area cleaning in camps and in tcc. my fan creaks and is threatening to fall off! and my chair was broken. so angry. hopefully the technician will come SOON. i don't want to sleep with a creaky fan. ): but in all, i'm happy with the room! and although i heard that Eric is in the same OG as me (again!), i'm looking forward to the orientation! (:

i FINALLY understand a bit more about bidding! all thanks to the seniors from odac camp whom i bombarded questions at. haha. yay-ness. and i've planned out my modules! i hope i do clear QET so that i can take my E Lit modules. (: and i'm keeping my fingers crossed on Psychology! do wish me luck! (:
big news of the week NUMBER 6:
i cut my hair! haha. nothing to rave about, but the very nice lady at Merryland (she's new!) actually painstakingly cut away all my horrid hair (from the highlights and rebonding) strand by strand! i love her man! hair's shorter now but i'm glad to be free from those horrid hair. haha. no more hair dyes or chemicals for the near future at least man. (:
i think that's all for the week so far. i'm really excited about moving into hall! (: and hopefully, the next time i blog, it'll be from my new lappy (woot!) from my wonderful room (double woot!)! (:
