a series of unfortunate events.
Event 1
on day 2 of CNY, i was attending to a guest at my outlet when he suddenly went "you cut your hair?" i was shocked for a moment. when i started working, my hair was tied up. but after cutting it for the new year, it became too layered for tying so i let it down. and this guest actually noticed? i was so freaked out lar. and subsequently when i went to serve him, he started asking me my age, my school and everything. and the last straw came when he asked for my e-mail address! gawd. i simply took his and said i'll add him to MSN instead of he adding me. gawd. how? the worst thing is that he knows where i work and he's a regular! gawd gawd gawd.
Event 2
yesterday after work, i was rushing down to meet Sarah to go down to Joan's place together. and somewhere around the traffic light to Bugis Street, this foreign worker brushed his palm against my thigh! initially i thought it was just an accident cause it was so crowded and everything. but when i turned back to catch a glimpse of him, he actually smirked at me! PERVERT! my goodness. i should have reported him or something! it's disgusting how pervertic some people can get!
Event 3
this is the most traumatising one! i am still deeply disturbed by it. on my way home from Joan's place, i could sense that this person was behind me from the train station. he crossed the road behind me but suddenly jumped out in front of me when i was on that same path back home! my heart almost jumped out can? luckily there was this other girl and an old couple in front of us. he probably saw that too and started to tail this other girl in front of me. he walked very near to her and kept looking at her! and this girl knew something was wrong so she pretended to walk to the side of the road to hail a cab. i was so scared so i just went up to her and told her to walk together with me. at least two's company! but this man continued to follow the both of us still! he stopped at his traffic light and started pressing it. for goodness sake, it's not even working! it's newly installed can? the two of us just sticked close to each other and after a while, that man just ran up this flight of stairs, took off his shirt and started calling us. he didn't get a response from us and he started to spew profanities at us! and soon he disappeared from our sight. so we just called our family to come fetch us and waited for them. it was so scary during the wait! when my Mum and Sis came down, i just started crying. it was so scary can? ):
and it's not the first time something happened on that way home! a couple of weeks ago, i was heading home from work when this old Malay man in a van parked across the road started calling me and asking if i'm free that night. i simply ignored him and he started scolding me also! there were two girls in front of me so i walked very quickly to join them. and the van started moving! i thought he was like coming for me so i ran my way home. my goodness. i sat on my sofa at home for a good fifteen minutes or so before i recovered from that shock.
i'm still very scared. how? ): the RC gang had to send me home to my doorstep after dinner just now. i don't dare to go home alone anymore! i'm supposed to change my route home but all routes look equally scary to me! how how how. ): i'm deeply disturbed.
