teachers' day.life gets alot easier when you just ditch the unhappy moments and embrace the happier ones around you.
and i'm sure i enjoyed my day a lot today! (:
first up was the ACES day dance. lol. so embarrassing to say that we're STILL doing having ACES day. ACES day = All Children Exercise Simultaneously Day. please zoom in on the word children. we're sixteen, seventeen and eighteen and still children? but the comfort is that we're still young. and that we still get the holiday tomorrow!
back to the dance. nobody really dance. especially my class who was rebellious and clad in our class tee as usual. imagine the prominent whites amongst the blue and yellow and them not even inching? lol. i guess it must have been quite a sight from where the teachers were standing. i am amazed by the PE dept teachers who remain enthusiastic despite our very "-stands-still-at-looks-at-the-people-who-are-actually-dancing" attitude. cheers to them!
the concert was pretty bad. thought that the atmosphere wasn't really there. like bits of awkward silence here and there? and taking away the presents and flowers from the P and VPs when they were still on stage? and getting some low-profiled student councillor to give away trophies to the teachers? weird.
the best part was the presents part! omg. our class spent like so much time on the class presents? this personalised photo album for our PDG tutor with notes and photos of us. and personalised softboards for the subject tutors each. they all turned out so pretty! especially the Physics one. caused yours truly contributed alot of time to it! (: and i so love the smile on her face when she received it! the best smile i've seen so far! i think she deserves so much more credit for her work! i mean, she's like the best Physics tutor around? at least her smile made our day! (:
brunch with my girls was the best! i love them so much! (:
one of my friends actually said that hopefully this day will be dedicated specially to me in like ten years' time. i do hope so too! though it really seems it's like a long way there.
two days to prelims. argh.
