one whole week.
my goodness. i haven't been here for one whole week. just too tired and lazy to blog every day. i just concuss on my bed every night without having the energy to blog. :P
last sunday. busy day at HQ. logistics was. bleah. the people were just giving us trouble! calling down their friends to volunteer without informing us. and we were given the oh-so-wonderful job of rejecting them and sending them home. forgetting to return us our tags. asking for more helpers and sort of absuing their help? argh. just can't stand some people there.
and the media came down! this very nice local guy composed and wrote a song for us! ((: and a few of us had to go sing it for the media. so i got pulled along! my goodness. it was SO embarrassing okay. i tried to hide behind the bigger Alvin but he refused to let me. )): in the end i think the chior lady cobered me. muahahaha. 'cause on tv there was only one shot of me. thank God man. i think i died of embarrassment right then. of course voluntary work is not embarrassing. i just don't wanna be recognised. :P
anyways, it was one hectic day. but warm scenes filled our hearts and drove all the irritated thoughts away. little boys coming in to donate with their piggy-bank of coins! so cute. my goodness. i fell in LOVE with them! haha. and when their daddy asked them who they were donating to, they actually said "the little girl". so sweet! they may be young but at least in their hearts they know that in other parts of the world, people need our help. i felt so warm and touched all at the same time. ((:
