a meaningful new year's eve.
i'm at HQ now! yes i know it's late. was supposed to go meet the clique for movie, dinner and countdown but had to miss it to help out here. i miss my clique. )):
okay. today was definitely a hectic day. started out as tele-operator again. was supposed to help out in the typing of particulars but as soon as Shuhui and I walked into the place, Cynthia pulled us over to help with her main line. it was only like 0903 hrs and the phone was ringing and ringing and ringing? and our opening hours are actually from 0900 hrs. so it became another day of tele-operating.
more and more manpower came so eventually the juniors took over my job and i assisted CheeKeong in his logistics and manpower matters. basically just taking care of all the tags and manpower allocation.
i'm so proud of Singaporeans! they're so generous. the public just kept streaming in to donate either by cash or cheque. also, the phone calls kept coming in with enquries of how they can raise funds for the victims there. it's really quite heartwarming to know that people do take some time off their busy lives to care for others. ((:
shall not blog more. i'm keeping an eye on someone. :P
anyways, i must say that this is the most meaningful new year's eve i've had. ((:
