the trip.
day 1.
set off super early at around six in the morning. stopped at some overhead bridge for lunch. and we had A&W! haven't tasted that in ages man. the waffles with the ice-cream. -grinns- then we went round round and round. up the winding mountains to Cameron Highlands. the higher we went, the cool it got and the scenery got better! sprawling pieces of land. all green. fluffy clouds. all blue. wind blowing against our necks. (: and we finally got to the hotel. aqfter twelve hours on the bus. with butts aching and all. Heritage Hotel. very heritage-ish. lol. i felt like i had travelled back twenty years in time the moment we stepped into the hotel. room 137. (: dinner was steamboat. messy. we were contented gorging ourselves with the white rice. the rain killed our plans and we were stuck in the hotel for the rest of the night. the weather was amazing. we were so high up in altitude that wind was just roaring at us. we were shivering underneath our jackets without any air-conditioning. and fatigue engulfed us.
day 2.
breakfast at that same place. messy. X: and we began our tour in Cameron. bee farm. rose garden. strawberry farm. cactus garden. tea place. some souvenir shop. oily lunch at some place with lousy service. but the fun started in the evening in KL! went down the winding mountains. first shopping stop. Suria KLCC, some place beside the Petronas Twin Towers. big place with all the branded stuff. but only ninety minutes to shop. we zoomed in and out of the shops and looked around. finally we decided on the things we were interested in and we got them! i got a pair of slippers and a pair of RED earrings! (: but at the last minute we decided to get tops at Topshop. i got a RED top! so in the end we were late and we ran all the way from the shop in the basement to the bus. it was tiring. but that was not the end. the second shopping stop was at the Sungei Wang place. which was beside Times Square. walking to Times Square required ten minutes. and we had only an hour. if you do the maths, we will only have forty minutes to shop. forty minutes! and that place is huge. so we ran. again. we just ran out of Sungei Wang, across the roads and to Times Square. and that took us five minutes. haha. and we ran around in that place. it was chaotic. we ran into shops, looked around and if anything caught our eye, we would just try them on. and if it fits, we just get them. speedy shopping. first shop was Bodyglove! that place has some really cool tees. we tried them on and stank some clothes in the process. X: but we bought almost everything we tried. :P next was running around, looking for Quiksilver. we really ran. everyone was staring at us. there was this point when we ran onto the escalator behind this security guard and we immediately stopped in our tracks. he turned back to look at us and we acted innocent. X: the moment we reached the next storey we sprinted off again. the embarrassing moment was when we were on this escalator behind this couple. Shanz randomly wondered out loud "can we slide down?". guess it was really loud 'cause the couple in front immediately moved aside to make way for us. major embarrassment okay! next shop was FOS. Factory Outlet Shop or something. we ran round and round looking for it! when we finally found it we just ran in and looked around. grabbed everything that we fell in love with and tried them on. and yeah, we stank more clothes. we were still trying on clothes when we realised it was already 2133 hours. and we were supposed to be back on the bus outside Sungei Wang at 2140. and running back takes five minutes. got everything that was good and ran to pay for them. the moment we got back our change and the stuff was packed, we grabbed the bag and ran out. and i mean, really RUNNING. it was sucha sight that the shopkeepers laughed at us. run run run. out of Times Sqaure onto this overhead bridge that was totally confusing. across the roads. jumped off platforms. jumped over chains. across the back lanes. alongside the cars. into Parkson Grand. into Sungei Wang. up the bus. and we were on time! what an experience. i think we qualify for cross-country next year! and i think we totally burnt off the oil from the day's lunch. Mr Tour Guide was amazed at our five minutes. fruitful too! got two RED tops! (: last shopping place was the Chinatown. not much of a place to shop. it was too squishy and messy. we ended up checking out our dinner. :P Grand Season Hotel. nice place! room 1901. the view outside our windows was picturesque! buildings and greens. and the sky. (: roamed around in the hotel before settling down. chatted our night away. (:
day 3.
breakfast was finally good. (: tour in KL. chocolate boutique. batik factory. photo-taking at the Twin Towers. the mosque. the scenery there was great. the bridges. the clouds. the nice buildings. everything. random photos taken here and there. (: then we went on our way back to Singapore.
three days. and lotsa fun! (: really enjoyed myself!
and my cactus! (: i will take good care of it okay. it's so nice! it's sorta in the shape of stars. (: i love it! (:
photos uploaded. three hundred plus photos. of the greens. the roses. the skies. everything we had seen. (:
