so many times you've broken others' heartsso much that you've deceived yourself that there is only so much you can give
so much that you never thought ours could be different
and you never had the courage to commit more
so many times you've not had the courage to tell her why
you thought walking away would be the best solution
but you are wrong
there are many things that cannot be solved by simply walking away
i guess we really do belong in different worlds. the dreams we seek. the paths we take. the things that we believed in.
but no two people share the same dream. no two people take the same path. no two people believe in the same things. similar, yes. but same, no.
and the beauty of love is when two people of different dreams, different paths and different beliefs work together to create a common goal they seek in life. it is when two different dreams combine into one. it is when two paths merge as one. and it is when two beliefs become one.
i guess we couldn't.
but still, i don't hate
you. and i hope
you don't either.
