Link Camp is finally over. i'm shagged!
lol. okayy. the camp started off on the 19th. my birthday! ((: dragged myself out of bed to meet the rest for breakfast. the day started off great lah. put a bunch of VIs together and you can get the best gossips. haha. X: then we dragged ourselves to campsite. lol. walked out to Bedok to get the foodstuff. shopped for food for my kids too! wanted to get Spongebob stuff but couldn't find good ones. :P accompanied Kenny to buy firewood. was feeling so tired by then that i fell asleep in the taxi. X: the firewood was so heavy! almost died while carrying them down to the canteen. set up the BBQ pit. and we doodled on the parade square with the charcoal. X:
finally. the BBQ! was feeling so high that i got drinks for everyone. but i hate one of the first aiders from the JC! i was nice enough to pour him a cup of drink. and he actually asked "did you wash that cup?" hello? if you are such a clean freak then wash it yourself. we got insufficient cups but still i poured you a cup. can't you be a little appreciative? think mugging too much in that JC killed you.
then i BBQ-ed all the chicken wings for everyone. lol. everyone was too lazy to sit down to watch the wings so i took on the job. but my kindness was not paid off. they gave me my birthday surprise! goodness. i was BBQ-ing the satay and most of the people were upstairs watching the results show. Fiona suddenly asked me to sit down to gossip with her in the parade square. the first time she was beside me and i suddenly got called away to do some stuff. the second time she sat away from me and suddenly this torrent of water came falling down on me! i got drenched! my goodness. and i was sitting down and i was stunned for a moment. until i realised what's going on and started to chase Fiona around. then came two packets of water and one packet of flour! flour! i felt like a cake man. the flour stuck onto my dripping wet hair and i felt disgusted. haha. then they surprised me again with a cake. so sweet of them! ((: made my wish and blew out the candles. hee. then they wanted me to pick the candle out with my mouth. i knew they wanted to smash the cake into my face! but they kept insisted that they won't. so i trust them. )): they let me down! they smashed my face into it. haha. so wasted leh. i wanted to eat the cake! so poor Shanz had water, flour, cream and cake all over herself. she seriously felt like a cake. haha. but she took her revenge by chasing ShuHui, Fiona and Joan and sharing her flour and cake with them. and almost everyone got wet! Kenny took out this hose and we started dragging everyone to get drenched. everyone was like running away? haha. it was chaotic. anyways, if you guys are reading this, thanks for the wonderful birthday surprise! i loved it man! and i will remember it for life. ((: especially with the BIG blue-black ShuHui left on my left arm. hee. i love you guys lots! thanks Joan for the presents too! i totally love them! so cute! all the Keroppi stuff. hee. and MiaoLing, Edwin and spastic bestie! hee. that Ms Bitch thingy! :P you all really made my day. ((:
day 1. all the little links started coming in. so cute! haha. my Spongebob was supposed to have 9 kids. but only 6 turned up. so sad. but i love the 6! haha. so cute. started off with ice-breaker. initially they were so quiet! thank God i had Joan's Mickey to help me hype up my kids. hee. and when i wanted to teach them the Spongebob song, i thought they would think that i'm crazy. luckily they didn't. and they learnt it so fast! hee. i'm so darn proud of them. ((: community singing was next. haha. so fun! the group mentors got so high! we were teaching the songs! haha. especially the Elmo Song. i was teaching it and Edwin was my back-up vocals. :P and Joshua was shocked by my knowledge of kiddy songs. i had a good childhood k? and we got high doing all the action songs. haha. ((: but outdoor cooking killed me. my goodness! so chaotic. insufficient solid fuel! had to run to cook on the stove for them. and they didn't even finish eating! Joan and me had to clear their sardines and baked beans in the end. they ended up as part of the spaghetti sauce for the instructors. haha. and i burnt my thumb in the process. i was lighting the solid fuel and i thought it wouldn't light. so i just held it with my thumb. and guess what? it was burning on my thumb! )): pain. then was line-dancing. they changed the steps and we all got so confused. but me and my darling Ziting had great fun! we squeezed in with our links and just joined in the fun. haha. we were just getting high with the dance. :P the games. haha. my kids were pretty good! ((:
bathing time was chaos. Joan and Shanz were on toilet duty. my goodness. the kids were screaming and shouting away. and they took ages to bathe. haha. they were going "Jie Jie, why no hot water?", "Jie Jie, why so short time to bathe?", "Jie Jie, i can't reach my towel" and "Jie Jie, no place to hang my clothes". i almost died right there in the toilet. but exactly a great place to die in but i had no choice. haha. driven crazy by them. then was campfire. the starting was pretty draggy and slow. and they asked me to lead the Spongebob Campfire Song! my goodness. so last minute! never even give me any notice. so embarrassing! they just called for the captain. haha. the instructors got high ourselves. haha. especially the mass line dancing. me and my darling got super high! hee. ((: that was the best part of the campfire! next was some games in the MPH. lol. super funny. Huang Chiet Sir rawks in bringing the spirits of the kids up. ((:
day 2. woke up abit late. haha. then i was late for breakfast. and Joel Sir was like "is Captain here already?". so embarrassing. now everyone know that i was late. started off the day with outdoor games. haha. was so shagged already. thought i could slack but i got dragged in to play. especially at Fiona's station. they tricked me! made me walk round and round the field. )): i love my Spongebob! they were great in all the games. we got a total of 45 points out of 50. ((: next was lunch. we got HIGH! haha. there was this resting period and we were entertained by the links who came forward to sing. then Joel Sir sabo-ed me to sing. goodness. please lah. always trying to embarrass me leh. in the end i dragged my two kids, Fiona and ShuHui along. hee. area cleaning sucked. my group had to clean three corridors. and we had only like six members? so it was two kids per corridor. the long long corridor. some groups of seven cleaned one room only! so unfair! think i died along with my kids. i ended up sweeping for them. haha. and WeiJian and CheeYong kept laughing at me! so mean. i'm just being a nice captain and helping them k?
prize presentation rawked! we were like cheering for everyone. haha. and we were so creative! thought of all the lines to shout. :P so HIGH! ((: and the photo-taking! ((: with my kids too! they were so sweet! i gave them all a BIG hugg and some of them didn't want to let me go. ((: so sweet! and they made me promise to send the photos to them. ((: i'm missing them already! ((: and they got an overall of 4th in the camp! i love my Spongebob lots! ((:
that rounded up the camp. haha. physically and mentally shagged but i enjoyed it! the birthday surprise, my darn sweet kids and everything else! ((:
