excursion.
yeaps yeaps. we went on an excursion today. so primary school-ish. lol. today's NE day at school so we all got to go to Officer Cadet School. actually it's just for the guys to have a feel of how NS life is going to be like for them. but we girls have to tag along! they say it's to let us know what our boyfriends will be going through next time. haha. crap.
anyways, the place brought back lots of memories! FADIS. (: remembered how we used to do all the first aid duties there. the NCC day! the duties that killed us. they had like a thousand and one rehearsals and eventually the real thing. so we were down there for like a few weeks in a row? as our guide Ray brought us around, all the places brought back the great memories. the canteen where we used to have our lunch. the food was bad but it was great chatting with my coursemates! the roads that we used to march on with our stretchers and first aid kits. haha. that was hell okay. still remember how they made us march from the parade grounds to the canteen under the sun. almost died. and the parade grounds! i could still see the temporary tents used as the first aid base and how the boliao army people used to chat us up. haha. and how we gave them the cold shoulder 'cause we couldn't be bothered. (:
the tour was pretty cool too. learnt alot about the lives of officer cadets. i didn't know Don knew so many thing! the jungle survival part was cool! although we were feeding the mosquitoes, but it was cool to learn about the traps and makeshift shelters. and the demonstrations of break falls. cool. reminds me never to disturb Don. if he uses what he learnt in OCS on me, i'll die man. haha. the food rations part was funny. haha. we were fascinated with all the food! how they eat Lipton Peach Tea powder. and Milo powder. and the packets of food. Curry Mutton Pasta okay? the taste wasn't too bad. ahah.
shagged. the journey back to school was so long! and i fell asleep. haha. okay. shall go edit my PW report. have to submit on Thursday! -gasps-
