too far away.
why is it that everytime i try to hold on to something, it just slips further away from me?
why is it that everytime you say you'll be there but when i needed you most, you were too far away.
why is it that everytime i look forward to things, i face disappointment?
why is happiness so near and yet so far away?
or is happiness just an illusion?
i thought the rain would wash it all away.
but i was wrong.
reality sank in even more.
