here's a little list compiled by me, marie, ailin and leonard in the lab just now. was trying to decide between staying in AJ and trying for VJ.
AJC: The Good and The Bad
The Good!:
- I have lots of nice friends like Marie, SiYun, PeiLee, Liren [if she stays], Brudder Boo [if he stays], Ailin [if she stays], Leonard, my 9 Layered Cake who are staying, my classmates of 12/04 who are staying, my Conifero mates who are staying and everyone whom i can say "Hi!" to in school.
- I have pretty much adapted to the school! I can remember the school song! :X
- The canteen food is quite good! The "western food store" soup, the mee, the fish burger, the fruits. :X
- It's near my house! I don't have to wake up so early!
- I can continue with my Project Eureka project, try to win something in the Science Fair and try to become president. :X
- I can continue to terrorise Leonard with Marie.
- Spongebob may let me join First Aid Club and give me a high post, thus I may get more CCA points. :X
- The PE can keep me trim and fit!
- I may get to be an OGF and that means community service hours and fun!
- NYP is just across the road and I can go there for pasta! :X
- Town is only 15 minutes or 2 bus-stops away.
- The uniform is quite nice.
- Leonard's phone is great fun to play with. :X
- I'll get to be on Waifu's DNA structure team. :X
- Blue and yellow socks rocks!
- We can wear coloured socks!
- The lockers are cheap at a rate of 2 dollars per term. :X
- There are spacious shower rooms. :X
- There's a direct bus home!
- There's a direct bus to Thomson for my guitar lessons every Friday.
- I'm having increasing "mo qi" with Marie.
The Bad!:
- The canteen is small.
- The toilets stink.
- The buildings are old.
- The campus is small.
- PE is tiring.
- Some people here are far too hardworking and irritating and ethusiastic.
- I may contract a serious case of labophrenia if i continue to work on my Project Eureka project.
- I'm having increasing "mo qi" with Marie.
VJC: The Good and The Bad
The Good!:
- It's more prestigious. There's a better chance for me to get into Faculty of Medicine.
- There are Snapple vending machines!
- They have nice plasma televisions as the messaging systems.
- There's more life!
- ECP is nearby so we can have BBQs frequently.
The Bad!:
- It's too far! I'll have to wake up very early.
- I'll have to travel for long hours and I'll get motion sickness.
- I'll have to make new friends.
- I'll have to try to adapt.
- I'll have to find a new CCA.
- The people there are very very clever!
- It's hard to get to guitar lessons on Friday nights.
- The uniform is not as nice. :X
- We can't wear coloured socks!
- I may not even get in!
NJC:
- I don't think I can even get in. :X
and my conclusion:
i'm staying in AJ! :] i hope it's a right choice!
