went to the library in the afternoon with the girls.. finally a day when i can step into the library with the aim of borrowing some storybooks, and not with the aim of completing my biology notes.. but that feeling is not going to last for long.... the weekend is over, which means i have to start studying tomorrow... -___-
went to the mac near my house to get my dinner just now, & i met this granny who wanted to buy medicated plasters from there... she was holding this packet of medicated plasters & trying to converse to the counter lady in hokkien... the counter lady was an Indian, so i had to do the translation for her... so, with my barely-there hokkien, i explained to her that the plasters are not sold here... okay, maybe i do not look convincing enough or she couldnt understand my hokkien, she went to the other counter & started asking again... she finally got the message, so she left... i went up to her & again, with my hokkien, asked her if she wants to try the minimart next door... but she mentioned something about the mac at central selling the plasters... then she noticed the cross i was wearing & she pulled out her necklace.. hanging on it was a cross too.. =] then she continued to talk to me, thanking me along the way... it's an unusual encounter, but i think the granny is quite nice...
tomorrow is the day.... am kind of anxious... wondering how i'll do.... well, nevertheless, wish me luck!!! =p
