a little sun and fun.
spent the entire day out with the ULP people. had great fun with the Monkey game, although i was constantly being laughed at for my lack of skill in catching and throwing the ball. and it didn't help that my skirt was falling! next up was volleyball. it was like 500 times better. my skirt was pinned up and my PE lessons back in college helped. haha. went for a drink with the guys and Yvonne Mdm at some bar. pretty costly drinks there, but the ambience was good! tanned for like ten minutes and went to join the rest in the waters. and we played Captain Frisbee! and the losing team had to do mua-chee in the sand and treat us to hum jin pangs in Maxwell! and my group (me, Yuhui, Yingsheng, Stephen) won! and the rest looked so silly being mua-chees! and my horrible partner Stephen and PA Yonghock both hit me with the frisbee! so horrid lar. on our way out of Sentosa, this terrible guy stood beside me and he STANK! i had the impulse to spray him with my Dove deodorant! argh. i almost died in my seat. dinner at Maxwell was good! cheap and good food. and walked all the way to Singapore River. and had a good chat there.
sitting by the riverside never fails to bring back all the memories. happy and sad ones. i want to be selective in that, but sadly i can't. what made me relieved was that i no longer felt lost, like how i used to whenever i walk past that very place. surprisingly, i had to question myself upon that. but the fact remains and so i'm a very happy girl. i am no longer entangled up in the mess. my once-clipped wings have regained their strength, and i am free to fly. (:
