missing the days.hasn't had a decent entry in days. last week of school was spent running around for AB. weekend was down in campsite and Bukit Timah for ULP. week spent in school, Sentosa and that safety car for AB. weekend contact session and VIP campfire. down with some fever, flu and cough for the week. and i'm finally free! to start mugging, that is. haha. enough of fun for the month.
but some snapshots first!
Be Yourself Day! last day of school. class theme was all black. but, only 12 turned up for the day. lol. like what's new? me, Veron, Lam, Ying, Lay Joan, Boo, Daryl, Clara, Jieli, Bao, Eunice and Tinglong. yeaps. and we were decked in black from head to toe! -jumps around- haha. that theme was easy for Shanz 'cause according to everyone else, i have a predominantly black wardrobe. -grinns-
first stop was LT5. wanted to send Lay Joan for the pageant but the people were taking SO long. so we hanged around and took photos!

us again! and we were still burnt from our Sentosa trip!
the people took too long so we decided to forgo the pageant. and next was LT4 for the kbox session. we have an AJ Idol semi-finalist with us so kbox is not to be missed. and we ended up spending our entire day in school there.
next was the pageant! but we decided to run away! being extremely great students that we are, we consulted Mrs Tan!
and nah, she didn't give us the thumbs up. she just went a big round and talked in riddles. but we decided to run away anyway! to Novena Square to buy my AB stuff and then to J8 to meet Mongshi for lunch. (:
and we were in this shop in Novena Square when we spotted this totally cute girl! Faith's her name! so cute rights? (:
headed off for lunch and back to school for AB after that. guitar and harmonica concert was next! i liked the Tong Hua part! -grinns- and the day ended with a very pleasant surprise. (:
next was ULP. yeaps. lotsa things happened. especially during the Bukit Timah hike. everyone else has written in their blogs so i shall not repeat. but i must say that after this experience, i've learnt how leadership encompasses sacrifice. and i must say i've grown to love and admire some seniors and juniors! (:
next was AB AB AB! lols. forgot to bring my camera. ):
Day 2 Island Training! my committee's day! -grinns- and here's me and Bryan with my mighty first aid kit! (: the background is so nice right? i swear that i didn't do anything to this picture! (:

the SIs at Sentosa! without me, Daniel, Janet and Kianhong though. ): 'cause we were the advance party back to AJ for the night reflections. but still, i love the SIs!
and our grad night! (:
been talking some of the SIs recently and i really miss AB! guess i'll never forget all these:
- the number of casualties during the camp
- the morning when Ee Jun woke me and Bryan up to check on the 2 casualties. turned out that one had a torn muscle and the other a torn ligament. so we had to send them back and Shanz didn't get to brush her teeth until 0700 hrs even though she woke up at 0545 hrs. yikes.
- the amount of biscuits the SIs ate up during the first 2 days. 4 WHOLE tins!
- the letters and notes we all received. (:
- the gossiping about the other camps in school, especially when it came to OUR AB Camp shirt :P
- the rendezvous times i had with that teacher! X:
- the dropping of 2 packets of rice in the canteen for Day 1 lunch and 1 packet in the AJ square from Day 1 dinner
- how the girls helped me to mop the canteen and how Jas and Calvin helped me to pick up rice from the AJ Square. some rice is still stuck in the gaps and i bet they're rotting right now.
- slacking away in Tanjong Beach when the campers were running around
- eyeing my eye-candy discreetly! X:
- throwing 3/4 of my rice into Ee Jun's packet
- making Gatorade (lemon-lime and orange!) and forcing it down the throats of both SIs and campers
- plastering myself against the walls of the cubicle in the MPH toilets to get water over my head (that shower head is at a weird angle. i'm serious.)
- gossiping with Jasmine and Wendy at night when lights were supposed to be out
- our netball strategy session with Ms Ng, involving our pyramind and defense defense!
- SI2 team winning the netball game! my team - Zhangpei, Qiuteng, Babu, Yaohui, Alex, Benedict, Fiona and Shanz
- lying on the floor of reading room and chatting with Wendy, Qiuteng and Shinhung on day 4
- asking everyone if they want seconds or thirds during lunch-time
- Project G during Land Ex and squatting by the roadside with Dina, Ian and Jiayi -winks-
- my scandal with Bryan which is so not true
- graduation when we had the best laughs
and everything else that made AB Camp complete!
awww. i'm going into that reminiscent mood again! I MISS AB Camp!
shall wait patiently for that outing at Bryan's place! poolside party! (:
and i had more pleasant surprises during the camp. (:
