silly islanders.
AB camp training was okayy. at least it wasn't like the regimental one they had a couple of weeks ago.
group II was fun! and the croc pit activity was so good! it's really a test of teamwork and everything else!
and most importantly, the islanders rawk!
-grinns- yeaps yeaps. my AB camp island training mates! they're so silly can?
met up with them outside school for the very first time. yes, i missed the two meetings they had earlier on due to some other commitments. they were so silly okayy. our initial plan was to go for lunch and update the different groups within the committee on our proposal progress. so we met outside the school gate 'cause we were already being chased out of school. everybody arrived and everyone seemed so dead. so they decided to update then and there instead of going for lunch together. bleahs. Kianhong and Shanz was like "eh we're terribly hungry leh!" but nobody listened to us. ): so they discussed, updated and talked. and it was over! so the already-famished Shanz asked "who wants to go for lunch!" and guess what? EVERYONE in the committee wants to! my goodness right? like we could have gone for lunch and discuss instead of standing in the hot sun with the growling stomach.
oh yes! did i mention that i was the ONLY girl around? Seemanti, Zhangpei and Janet were all not around! not like the guys treated me like a girl anyway. lol.
anyways, we went to the hawker centre! and it's been confirmed! AJ Ice is no longer available. ): it's like so sad can? you know the times when you really crave for it to realise that it's no longer available? it's like the third time this week! first was after sports day with the girls. second was yesterday with the RC mates. third was today! sighs. hope the new people learn how to make it soon!
so back to the lunch. sat with the guys! like i had a choice? and they were so crappy can? Daniel, Babu, Adhiraj, Ee Jun and Kianhong. they were like making silly jokes and crapping throughout the entire lunch. and afterwards, Wing Sing came over and asked if we wanted the ice mountain! the sun was blazing. we were tired. so we succumbed to the temptation of it! lol. yeaps. so the six of us shared the ice mountain.
i was between Wing Sing and Kianhong and apparently, they love the atap seed alot! so the moment the mountain arrived, they stated digging caves and tunnels to search for their beloved. it was so scary okay? Shanz was blissfully enjoyed the ice in her mouth when suddenly the entire mountain collapsed. and within like two minutes, the mountain was reduced to a hill and eventually nothing. my goodness. my committee guys are like ferocious eaters!
next was the walk to the train station! that's when they became real sillly. i was talking to Ee Jun about the Arts Faculty in NUS when the other guys started to pull away from us and leaving the two of us alone. it was so silly can? they were so loud and so noisy behind us and suddenly they just kept quiet and stopped altogether. it was so obvious! after that, they started scandals for me with each and everyone of the committee guys. so i had six different scandals today. lol.
then they started to surround me in a circle! and Wing Sing was like "hey! now nobody can see her!" ): i'm not that short k? maybe my legs are a little short and everything but i'm not that short lah. -consoles herself- and Kianhong made this comment "we're making her look very popular!" haha. so true can? it was like one girl and six guys.
anyways, enjoyed myself lots in the short couple of hours. and so i say, my islanders rawk! -grinns-
recce to Sentosa this Wednesday. can't wait! we're gonna make the island training a blast!

we enjoy more when we let go of some things.
we really can't get the best of both worlds.
it was hard to let go. but the recent spate of events just gave me the courage to. all that glitters is not gold. and what's more, it was only glamorous on the surface. the stuff that we had to go through underneath is better left unspoken. and sometimes you just can't help but stare in repugnance at some people.
just gonna put in what i can for the very last.
it's really time to start having time for myself.
