the emperor's club.

watched a movie during mass civics! how cool is that? no more melancholic droning of boring forums and equally bad presentations! (:

The Emperor's Club. really nice movie i must say. thought-provoking. and definitely intriguing.

the teacher featured, Mr Hundert, had knowledge out of his mouth everytime he opened it.

"great ambition and conquest without contribution is without significance. what will your contribution be? how will history remember you?"

"the worth of a life is not determined by a single failure or a solitary success."

makes you think, doesn't it?

and the teachers ended the session with one of their own.

"your end depends on your beginning. you are all at your the beginning so decide how you want your end to be."

how do you want yours to be?

i want how i want mine to be. and i know exactly what i need to get there.

Jeremy mentioned to me that he sees no purpose in studying. and i knew i used to think that way too. i mean, i don't see how i'm going to apply integration in my life next time!

but i guess ultimately, we in here for a reason. rigid as the system may be, it's just our stepping stone to the future. it's just a path we take from the beginning.

there is a purpose in life for everything.

students caught in a monotonous school life?
or dreamseekers on their path?

you decide.
