the tsunami battered the coasts of Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Indonesia, the Maldives, Myanmar and Malaysia. the news battered the hearts of the world.
9.0. a beautiful number. but not as beautiful anymore on that Sunday morning. not as beautiful anymore as it appeared on the Richter scale. not as beautiful anymore as it took away nearly 23000 innocent lives from their loved ones. not as beautiful anymore as it broke up the perfect families. not as beautiful anymore as hopes and dreams become dashed.
