PW's driving everyone crazy. well. was supposed to hand in our WR today. so last night, we did our final editing and i printed out 66 pages of report! 3 copies. haha. and i carried them to school today. so heavy okay. we were all so prepared to hand in our reports. and guess what? Ms Mitina Tan's on MC today. haha. so we got 1 more day to arrange our stuff. a blessing? maybe. we looked at the report again and again and discovered tiny flaws and we changed them! haha. hope the report's okay now. (:
no teacher for GP so we used the period for PW. haha. so guai right? did our powerpoint. my groupmates say i'm a perfectionist! goodness. i'm not! i'm just a near perfectionist. i was only double checking the font sizes, the alignment and the styles of the presentation! they say Scorpios are perfectionists. i thought only Virgos were. but anyway, i just think that if something is worth doing, it's worth doing well. so, might as well take some extra time to ensure it's nice and good rather than rushing through it and producing not-so-good work. i just like to see my stuff well-aligned and all. haha. the dumbest thing happened during morning assembly today. we got scolded for the various complaints sent in by the public regarding our school students. one was of some student refusing to give up his or her seat to an elderly on the bus. that's quite reasonable. but the other complaints were ridiculous. but well, apparently Mickey Tan doesn't think so. know what the public complained about? our school students in uniform holding hands. one was in NYP and the other along some streets. the NYP person who complained actually said he took a photo of the couple. that's really ridiculous right? firstly, we are JC students. we are seventeen or eighteen. we know what we are doing. it's just holding hands. it's not like it's some extreme public display of affection right? holding hands in uniform doesn't make us bad students right? does it tarnish the school image? if it's nothing more than holding hands, then no! and there's like no rule that students can't date? come on, break away from the old fashioned mould. dating and holding hands do not decide how good a student is okay? it's what he or she learns. and i believe we are all mature enough to know our own priorities. i don't think there is the need for the public to remind us. what's more, the mere holding of hands in public does not mean we're not setting our priorities right. secondly, what's the public's problem anyway? it's not just our school students who are dating. other JCs and tertiary institutes have their fair share of students who are dating too. but that does not make the future generation of Singapore bad right? is it a sin to date? seriously, i think these people should just mind their own businesses. and thirdly, that NYP person who complained. taking a photo using his or her camera phone? that's invading others' privacy. camera phones are supposed to be used for our own, be it photos of our friends or the scenery. but definitely not for taking photos of others without their consent. and that person still has the cheek to complain. he or she should go find something better to do. how disgusting right? we actually got scolded in the morning for that. and Mickey Tan says whoever is caught next time will have to do a public apology in school and get his or her parents called up and stuff. so yucks.
Physics Physics. everyone else has decided to drop it. Boo, Lam, Veron and Ying. only 8 students left today. a couple of the rest are still deciding. think Mdm Tay was quite disappointed today when so many of them went up to her with the form. she's a really great teacher. but we've all let her down. she gave us this talk just now and i think she really inspires me. i wanna work hard for Physics! i think i need to find a study partner. (:
pretty shagged lately. i can just lie on bed and fall asleep. i think PW's draining everyone out. WR is done but we have OP. and my darn unlucky group is gonna get assessed by the Moderator and Chief Moderator, whoever they are. argh. that means we need to work extra hard. but i guess we'll make it through ya? (:
to everyone who's feeling drained out by PW. it's just the last mile before we get the break we deserve! the holiday that we can finally enjoy! hang on! as Good Charlotte sang, "Hold on, if you feel like letting go", hold on! (:
