sunday night! :]
NDP yesterday. and i reached home at 5+ in the morning. late right? all thanks to the "don't-blame-us-we've-got-everything-planned-nicely-for-you-guys" SAF. firstly, they decided bring the little primary 5 kids back before sending the uniformed groups back. like they didn't realise that after the parade, there was still a whole lot of performances before the little kids got dismissed. then they'll have to send the kids back and come back to the SIS. didn't they realise how late it was gonna be? goodness. wonder if national service did something to their brains.
so we were scheduled to leave the SIS at 2230 hours. the cadets spent the time having lots of fun and according to the GG instructors, being anti-social. lol. then they decided to give us false hope by saying MAYBE the buses will come at 2130. right. guess what time did the buses come? 0010. we left the place at 0010.
it was such a sight back at HQ was the buses arrived. worried parents and anxious taxi-drivers who thought we would want their services. so the cadets whose parents came to fetch them were quickly sent off. the rest were sent back to their doorsteps by the Sirs. lol. 2 cars and 2 ambulances.
was in Kevin Sir's car. it was so tiring! had to stay awake to check out the roads in the street directory and to prevent Kevin Sir from falling asleep too. lol. i can't read the street directory for nuts. there goes my dream of driving a car to work next time. haha. anyways, sent the cadets to Farrer Park, Whampoa and Tampines. on the way back to HQ, i fell asleep until i was woken up by Kevin Sir. lol.
we were all so tempted to stay overnight at HQ. :X but in the end we went for supper/breakfast. the feeling was weird. it was like 4+ in the morning and there we were walking into the Lau Pat Sat for food.
the Sirs drove us home after that. lol. reached home at around 5.
today. church! pulled myself out from bed. :[ so basically i'm still suffering from a serious lack of sleep. back to church. today was the "I've Got A Friend" event. saw many new friends in the church. hope that they'll receive God into their lives and stay. :] and the band was great! my goodness. their voices were heavenly. :]
for the past couple of weeks, i felt that my life was falling apart. i thought that God had left me. but now i know, He has never and He will never leave me. it's all part of His plan. i have to learn to fall, because only then will i push myself to have to courage to stand up again.
