haven't updated in such a long time! was just plain lazy to do so =X
lectures started after orientation, but it was on a temporary timetable. so all we had was lectures and no tutorials, which means school ends at around 12 plus to 1. so marie and i got to go out for lunch! went to places like j8 and heartland mall, and we met up with the other girls too. no tuturials means no work to be done, so we just slacked around for the past few days = X
but today, is the start of our formal timetable. school ends earliest on wednesday, but we have our CCAs on that day, so it doesn't count. the next earlier day is monday, which ends at 1600. how early is that right? the other days all end at 1645. and the day is packed with only a couple of breaks for lunch. argh. today's lessons ended at 1645 and i'm so terribly exhausted but guess what? i've got tons of tutorials to complete. physics, maths and biology. argh. welcome to JC life, weishan. = /
school is both physically and mentally exhausting, especially when you're in a class like mine. no finger-pointing, but there're just some people in my class who talks too much for their own good. talk, talk and talk. yeah, we know you've finished your exercises and read through the notes back-to-back, but can't you guys just be a little considerate? there ARE people who wants to listen to the lecturer and you talking doesn't help. at all. dull as our class may be, we do not need your jokes. especially so when they're terribly lame and not funny at all. and get a life! stop mugging! it's scary to see all the tutorials completed way too early and them doing more work in the library.
i'm mean, but that's really how some people in my class are like. they're totally stressing me out.
went to bodyworlds on tuesday. it was a great experience, except for the fact that i was trying hard not to regurgitate my dinner on those bodies. it was kind of cool to be looking at the human body in that way, but you just can't help feeling sorry for those bodies [or people?]. especially all the foetuses. yah, it's a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see those tiny foetuses that were barely bigger than our fingernails, but i really felt sorry for them. and those with the deformities. such poor things. but overall, it was an enriching trip. was amazed at how our body is actually like. = ]
attend project eureka yesterday. did this hands-on experiment on agarose gel electrophoresis and DNA. pretty cool i must say. but, the moment i stepped into the lab, i felt like i had stepped into geeks' paradise. = X i'm being mean again, but yah, that's the truth. = X
i have PE next week! on two consecutive days! argh!
