new layout.. the previous 1 was too common...
was supposed to haf some lines and images, but din work..
shall work on dem later...
kae.. lots of things to write...
goes all the way back to fri... the nite b4 RED X POP...
stayed up till 3.30 to finish up the presents...
was so tired dat i dozed off whilst decorating the notes..
shows juz how tired i m huh..
saturday came..
finally passing out after 4 years...
raining in the morning.. was almost drenched on the way to skool...
struggling wif my full-u, boots and all the certs....
the cadets were kind of disappointing...
from the start... even the most basic falling in, reporting...
had a few times of changing parade.. but they nv learn...
and the parade was a total flop i think...
not enough time for rehearsal...
starting late, making guests wait...
seniors having to help carry tables and chairs...
parade commander giving wrong commands...
some1 fainting during the marchpast...
it makes us feel lyk all our hardwork to train them has gone down the drain...
haiz.. kind of depressing...
the concert was kind of boring initially...
with singing and more singing...
but the emotional part came when they played the powerpoint made for us...
brought back all the memories...
was amongst the 1st few to shed tears... and soon every1 was crying...
a touching scene i suppose....
the sec 4s took turns to give speeches.. and each one brought more tears...
looking back...
i dun think i'll actually get to noe ppl lyk jacsee, xiaoying, xinyin, yingyin without red x...
the 19 grapes together...
haha... it's been 4 hard yeard together....
kind of sad that we'll no longer be hanging out in the red x room together....
anyway, it was a foto-taking day...
took lots of fotoz wif lots of people....
rushed home and got ready for the BBQ at east coast...
its was another flop...
firstly we couldnt find the place..
had to walk lyk 1/3 of the entire park before we located them...
as if we were not already tired from the morning's activities...
next....
no pit!
a makeshift pit in the middle of the park...
aluminium trays as pits....
we looked kind of... pathetic?
unlyk last yr, we din really get to tok...
we broke into our different groups & went separate ways...
so much so for a farewell bbq?
npcc was beside us wif a makeshift pit too..
hahaz..
went home early.. at aroud 11++?
was desperately waiting for a taxi...
tired, cold & cranky...
& some NP guys had to come along & remind us that there is NO taxi...
if looks could kill, i would have killed him a thousand times over and over again....
well.. fell asleep on the taxi on the way home...
sunday...
woke up late, due to the late night...
had to go to grandpa's house...
pasir ris is so far away...
was cranky the entire way there cozi haf a chinese test on mon and tons of hw waiting for me...
ate and went home...
rushed up on my homework...
prepared my malay costume for racial harmony day...
studied chinese till 4...
tired...
racial harmony day!!!
lots of things happened..
was supposed to meet peishi wenlin sally melissa at 6.45...
but nobody got there so early...
haha.. so we rushed to get change the moment we got to skool...
got into the staff toilet wif natasha...
i changed into my costume very quickly... but natasha was struggling wif her sari...
so i went to find dap, who we tot might be able to help..
opened the toilet door, and wad a sight it was...
3/4 of the 4/3 gers were inside, all dressed in saris...
a pretty sight..
lolx.. but the thing was none of them knew how to wear a sari the proper way...
had a hard time sitting on the parade square floor, as the skirt was long....
lessons was boring..
hahaz.. but took fotoz wif ms zaiton...
chinese test was on.. but it was quite relaxing...
the peak of the day was recess time...
went down to the foyer and it was filled wif people..
another major foto-taking day...
took wif lots and lots of people.. hahaz...
well, it isnt everyday dat i get to wear a malay costume...
walked around and looked at other people's costumes...
puezhen wore dis japanese outfit which cost her ard 200 bucks.. juz for today..
joyce was a mongolian princess...
the others were mainly in indian and malay costumes...
quite a colourful sight...
the skirt was long and i almost tripped and fell a couple of times.. hahaz
after the long recess was the 3-period maths dat was absolutely BORING...
had a sandwich b4 having another 2-hr maths remedial...
foto-taking session for graduation after dat...
had to wear a blazer...
my 1st time in skool blazer.. hahaz...
well... up till now, sec 4 life has definitely been a good experience for me...
so many '1st times'...
my 1st time wearing an ethnic costume....
my 1st time wearing a blazer...
my 1st time attending speech day...
my 1st time being so sad about Red X...
so many so many more...
& i believe in the months to come, more things will take place...
memorable things....
